Kewaunee County is located in Eastern Wisconsin; along Lake Michigan. It is named for the Kewaunee River.
The seat is Kewaunee while the largest city is Algoma. The county is located just east of Green Bay.
It borders Door, Manitowoc and Brown Counties.
Main roads include WI-29, WI-42, WI-54 and WI-57.
